Sev1Tech is seeking detail-orientedand collaborative Storage Systems Administrator to join our mission inproviding best-in-class security, infrastructure, and technology solutionsto businesses in Colorado. To support our classified customer, a SecretSecurity Clearance is required for this role.Supporting a managed-services program in Broomfield, CO, the StorageSystems Administrator must have recent domain admin-level experience and willbe part of an Infrastructure Operations team responsible for the following:* Technologies in scope:- Windows, VMware ESX, and VxRail- EMC based SAN/NAS Storage Systems (in particular EMC Isilon)- Robotic tape libraries (in particular Spectra Logic)* Services in scope:- Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, etc- Email and Instant Messaging- Application and storage infrastructure for production, test, anddevelopment environments* For the systems and services in technical scope:- Provide daily support- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software problems, taking appropriatecorrective action and/or interacting with IT staff, vendors, serviceproviders or customers- Administer configurations, access and permissions- Maintain uptime, availability, and performance- Perform routine maintenance, patching and upgrades as needed or required- Migration of systems from older to newer generation-based systems- Installation and configuration of new systems and environments- Perform technical user training as needed- Conduct periodic performance analysis and fine tune overall performance- Perform capacity management and proactively propose appropriate remediation- Monitor and remediate system backup issues- Develop or maintain operational tools or scripts to automate the aboveactivities* Execute request fulfilment, incident management, change management andproblem management in line with ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) concepts* Fulfil requests and resolve incidents in accordance with the customer'scontractual SLAs (Service Level Agreements)* Provide on-call support and weekend maintenance duties as required* Work with other cross-functional teams to provide seamless Service Delivery* Participate in Operations and Service Delivery continuous improvementactivities* Create and review articles, how-to documents for the Operations KnowledgeBaseMinimum Qualifications* Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in a mixed OS environment Windows,Linux, VMWare, but at least 3 years in Storage* Experience with Brocade switches* Experience with SAN and/or NAS; ability to learn EMC Isilon* Proficient with requirements management .and. system modeling tools* Recognizes various architectural patterns* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications* Operational support experience as part of a large team* Experience with a recent ITSM tool (ticketing system, CMDB) such asServiceNow, Remedy or Cherwell* Must be security conscious* Excellent communication and collaboration* Proficient written and verbal communications skills* Proficient ability to grasp and apply new information quickly andeffectively handle complex assignments* Shows initiative on assignments, exercises independent judgment andprofessionally executes projects with little direction* Proficient ability in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions* Self-starter and aptitude to work independently in a fast paced continuouslyevolving environmentClearance Level* Top Secret/SCI required (CI Poly clearance preferred)* Ability to work in a SCIF environmentCertifications Requirements* A Bachelor's Degree Required (4 years of experience in lieu ofBachelor's degree)* DoD 8570.1M compliant CompTIA Security + requiredAbout Sev1Tech LLCFounded in 2010, Sev1Tech provides IT, engineering, and programmanagement solutions delivery.
