RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop and deploy high-quality code that is idiomatic, testable andmaintainable. * Challenge and propose changes for software development that has clearfocus and contributes to continuous improvement. * Collaborate with the project team to identify and clarify projectgoals, establish useful milestones, and develop a breakdown of theengineering tasks to be performed. * Develop engineering effort, schedule, and estimates to supportoverall product delivery success. * Create feature and functional designs, implement and tests thosedesigns to meet established requirements. * Propose Improvements to architecture, track emerging technologies,evaluate applicability to business goals and operational requirements. * Apply continuous integration and delivery principles to improvedelivery of high quality solutions. * Provide engineering work products and documentation for successfulproduct release. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: * At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java and developingN-Tier applications. * Developing large-scale distributed, highly-available cloud solutions. * Designing and developing SaaS based solutions in the cloud primarilyusing RESTful apis. * Proficiency with most of Spring framework technologies, includingSpring Boot. * Using AWS services like EC2, S3, ECS, IAM, etc. * Understanding of Data Structures, Design Patterns, Relational andNoSQL Databases. * Using tools required in a development lifecycle: build (Maven,Gradle), unit testing (JUnit, TestNG, Postman), version control(Git), task and defect management (Jira), Agile development approaches. * Using SaaS offerings like Runscope, Datadog, BlazeMeter, Pingdomand Sumologic. * Using continuous integration and delivery pipelines based on Jenkins orrelated tools. * Good communication and interpersonal skills in a strong-matrixorganization environment. * Experience with Nodejs and ReactJS would be helpful, but not required. * BE/BS/ME/MTech/M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or anequivalent technical degree or combination of relevant education andexperienceTrimble is transforming the way the world works by delivering products andservices that connect the physical and digital worlds.
