The IT Mobility Solution Architect will work within the ITS team to design, implement and provide support solutions for Enterprise Mobility and in concert with other ITS teams, develop programs such as BYOD, Sales Enablement, and Kiosk development. This position will be central to the development new solutions that will allow our employees to be productive anytime, anywhere, and ensure solutions are agile and adaptable to evolving business requirements. The Solution Architect will work closely across all capabilities within the technology team on various tactical and strategic projects, evolving technologies, and ensure regulatory compliance and security is satisfied. As required, this position will also provide on-call support for the Mobility infrastructure for tier 3 issues. Familiarity with IoT technologies is a plus.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Interacts directly with business partners and other IT Capability Leaders to develop the mobility dimensions of a solution that meets the needs of the business

  • Clearly communicate (verbally and in written form) with business users to describe the technical solution, and address questions from the business regarding the technical solution

  • Support the development of technical requirements for the mobility solution, inclusive of configuration, data, process, security, and quality

  • Drive end-to-end solution architecture integrity and that the solution supports the functional requirements of the business while being consistent with long term architectural roadmap

  • Validate the alignment of solutions with corporate standards and compliance requirements

  • Develop technical design specifications that can be used by solutions/systems engineers to produce detailed technical design documentation

  • Design, implement, and support complex Enterprise Mobility solutions to support business requirements for an enterprise mobility infrastructure supporting over 3500 iOS and Android devices.

  • Stay current with evolving MDM, EMM, UEM technologies.

  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of security compliance policies and controls with respect to mobility (e.g., Okta, VPN, certificates, identity management)

  • Provide expertise in MobileIron sentry policy configuration and management; regional roles; tunnel; DLP; geo-fence.

  • Provide direction for configuration and management of enrollment programs (Apple Business Manager, Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP), Samsung Knox Enrollment (KME), and Android for Enterprise, AFW).

  • Provide direction for operations support to upgrade and patch MDM application software to stay compliant with support and security requirements.

  • Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshooting for mobility platforms

Postion Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT solutions, with a significant amount of that experience involving implementation, management and/or support for mobility

  • 5+ years of total experience in technical roles such as developer or system analyst

  • Ability to work in global, multinational and remote teams in a matrix organization

  • Strong consultative skills at a cross functional level

  • Experience with analysis level tools for: architectural diagrams, technical design specification, business use cases, business rules, and system level features

  • Good presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate and clearly formulate technical issues for technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong project and team management skills

  • Experience with mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows), interoperability testing, and security

  • Experience with Mobile Enrollment programs like Apple Business Manager, Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP), Samsung Knox Enrollment (KME), and Android for Enterprise, AFW.

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to multi-task against competing priorities

  • Leadership skills and the ability to articulate/manage customer expectations

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) technologies such as MobileIron, Airwatch, and InTune.

  • MobileIron Sentry configuration, administration, and policy management.

  • Advanced knowledge of mobile device management architecture and infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of Active Directory, networking, load balancing, proxy, and firewall technologies.

  • Familiarity with IoT a plus
