Often our patients require additional criticalcare services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectiousdiseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputationand ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer anopportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where youreally get to know your patients and their families.The CNA provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision ofpatient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living,including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthyand safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basicnutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations andrespondsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required.Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a NursingAssistant as applicable in the state of employment required.Current BLS certification required.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in theworkplace.At Vibra Hospital of Denver,CNA's are also eligible for weekend,evening, and night shift differentials, as well as, extra shiftincentive bonus, and preceptor pay.
