Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:• Assist guests in a courteous and professional manner in all areas of the base area, on the mountain and virtually all areas of the resort.• Support ALL Steamboat Ski & Resort departments with guest crowding and disseminating operational information with emphasis on Food and Beverage, Rental/Retail, Lift Ops, Parking and Transportation Centers.• Work at all Guest Service stations such as the Information Center, Lost and Found, lodges, parking lots, shuttle buses, transportation centers, on-mountain and lift lines.• Assist Ski Patrol as needed• Disseminate mountain condition information and other important information to the public and other departments• Provide support with special events and ski group throughout the season• Take customer comments • Meet and greet guests throughout the day • Provide up to date product information to our guests• Adequate computer skills with ability to learn RTP sales system • Position requires long days working in challenging weather conditions

Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:• Previous experience with SS&RC required or comparable Steamboat community experience• Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resport Company’s Service Excellence standards• Strong communication skills and customer service experience required• A cheerful, friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic attitude• Work in a team environment• Local knowledge and familiarity with Steamboat its history and surroundings• Adhere to all safety policies

Physical Requirements:• Communicate and write clearly in English• Willingness to work outside in all winter weather conditions for a prolonged period• Minimum level 7 skier or rider with the ability to safely handle all terrain and various conditions• Lift and carry minimum 30 lbs. • Must be at least 18 years of age

Miscellaneous information:• This is an hourly paid position subject to overtime pay• Position requires working weekends and holidays as needed

• Pursuant to county and/or state orders and company policies, every employee is required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, wear a mask per current guidelines, self-report and call in immediately and stay home if sick and assist with sanitizing and disinfecting work areas. Employees must follow all resort mitigation plans and protocols, which can be found posted on resort buildings and on Beekeeper
