The supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
The Mission Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:
Serve as Mission Engineer for Exercises and War-games on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract
Technical lead for all aspects of Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises
Responsible for design of architectures, and leading integration and test events including exercise execution
Responsible for development of work products including, but are not limited to, SV-1, SV-2, communications diagrams, floor plans, rack elevations, test plans, event cyber security plans (ECsP), event reports and problem reports
The successful candidate will:
Be able to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
Be able to travel 25-35% of the time - CONUS and OCONUS
This position can be filled at Schriever AFB, Colorado Springs, CO.
This position is expected to pay $105,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days. If a candidate has not been selected at that time, it will continue to be posted until a suitable candidate is selected or the position is closed.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 6 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience.
Must have at least 5 years of directly related experience
Must be able to travel 25-35% of the time - CONUS and OCONUS
Must have, or obtain with 120 days of offer acceptance, an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other technical degree
Experience in Ballistic Missile Defense Exercises within at least one CCMD Area of Responsibility
Experience with BMDS and Systems Engineering
Experience with MDA models (e.g., EADSIM, SSF, OSF, Pelorus, MDST, I-Sim), and other models (e.g., JSAF, RT3).
Experience with network engineering and DoD networks (e.g. MDA CNet, JTEN, NCTE)
