POSITION: ICM Lead Case ManagerDUTIES: The ICM Lead Case Manager to assists the individual and the familyin accessing different programs, facilitates coordination between thesystems involved, and links to community resources.* Meet with clients on a regular basis to help in accessing additionalprograms and services beyond just drug and alcohol treatment.* Provide assistance and direction to others ICM Case Managers.* Refer participants to appropriate assignments according to establishedprocedures.* Ensure that participants understand their obligation to participate in ICMand the requirements at all times.* Contact participants on the business day prior to their appointments toremind them of these appointments.* Advise participants that ICM services are available until employment isfound, until they are required to participate in another program or untiltheir time expires.* Remind them at each visit about time limits and advise them of the numberof days they have left on aid.* Explore reasons why the participant has been unsuccessful in obtainingemployment, and if necessary, make mental health, domestic violence,substance abuse, or medical evaluation referrals according to established proce* Reinforce/enhance activities like: dress for success, resumes,applications, etc.* Review resumes and related documents to ensure they are accurate,timely, and effective. If they are not, provide assistance in revisingor updating the information.* Have the participants complete a test job application to ensure thatthey are able to fill out a job application appropriately.* Provide referrals to job fairs.The above information on this description has been designed to indicate thegeneral nature and level of work performed by employees with thisclassification.
