Improper interference with the ability of AMSemployees to perform their job duties may result in discipline up to and includOrbital Warfare Instructor III1870-209General duties: This position will develop, implement, validate, andmaintain orbital warfare training and course material at the 319th CombatTraining Squadron, Peterson AFB CO for the Orbital Warfare Space WarfighterFollow-on course and other courses as assigned.Specific duties:Design and develop training with the following attributes:* Provide classroom instruction consistent with Instructional SystemDevelopment (ISD) satisfying government training requirements* Interface with internal and external orbital warfare and analysis agenciesas required maintaining up-to-date training program* Conduct, manage and qualify on orbital warfare lessons based on 319 CTSinstructions, security classification guides, and other guidance asidentified in the lesson plans* Coordinate instructional activities with the division chief, trainingmanagers and government training personnel* Additional duties as assignedExperience Required:* Possess working knowledge and experience with training systems and trainingprograms* Possess expert knowledge of capabilities, limitations, andvulnerabilities of US and foreign space systems* Demonstrated experience with orbit determination and analysis, maneuverplanning, Rendezvous Proximity Operations (RPO) and space surveillance* Possess working knowledge of and experience with operational level commandand control* Completion of Air Force Instructor Course preferred* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint,Excel, and Outlook)* Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility requiredEducation Required:* Master s degree in engineering from an accredited institutionYears of Experience:* 4 years of experience with USAF training, to include planning anddelivering instruction in accordance with the ISD model and training recordskeepingThe EEO Statement: AMS provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) toall employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color,religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexualorientation, gender identity or genetics.
