Shift: 9pm start - Overnight shift
Starting Pay: $12.00 per hour
The ideal candidate is reliable and takes work seriously. You must be able to work on a team with other reset merchandisers as well as work independently. Reset experience is preferred but we are flexible if you're the right person with related experience in retail, assembly/installation, or light construction.
This is an independent contractor position, not part or full-time employment. Job opportunities vary so there are no guaranteed set hours. The on-demand field position is the most important role in the ACM organization and is the perfect position for college students, stay at home parents, experienced merchandisers, or simply someone wanting a fun, flexible way to earn extra income. As a Home Improvement Merchandiser / Fixture Installer with ACM, you will be responsible for providing retail merchandising & installation services to our client. You will work under the direction of an on-site team lead, installing new fixtures and merchandising products in a large home improvement big-box retailer. Most of this work will take place in the overnight hours, while store is closed for business. The job responsibilities for each project will vary. The following list provides an outline of the typical duties for project work; specific duties related to each project will be provided when assigned.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Review and confirm assignment details of what each project will entail.
Work as part of a reset team, following the direction of a team lead to complete all assigned tasks (e.g. cleaning shelves/placing products, building and installing new fixtures or displays, setting up merchandise, cleaning and prepping the work area, etc).
Understand and maintain product area planogram integrity.
Report issues that arise during the project to the team lead.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all store personnel.
Log billable time via a text-in or online system; required to log arrival time and departure time
Maintain a consistent work record, including reporting to shift on-time and adhering to ACM guidelines.
Ability to read and understand planograms / schematics written in English.
Basic knowledge of merchandising and retail terminology and concepts
Be at least 18 years of age.
Valid photo identification and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Active email address and phone number.
Mobile device with text and Wi-Fi / data capability.
Reliable transportation to travel to all assigned locations.
Be timely, flexible and reliable to work.
Be able to work independently or as a member of a team.
Must have tools such as a cordless drill, mallet, hammer, pliers, measuring tape, screwdrivers, and others for the job.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Ability to repetitively lift, carry, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities.
Stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Precarious or high locations may be required; will be required to frequently climb and descend ladders.
Will be using basic tools (e.g. hammers, box cutter, screw drivers) that will require the full use of hands/fingers to operate.

Projects generally last for one week, but may be shorter or longer, depending upon the client and project. You pick your own schedule!
