Business AnalystDescription of RoleBusiness Analyst: Includes gathering and analysis of business requirementsin support of claims system enhancements and related system development,testing and deployment. Our KP Claims Connect platform supports 7 regionalinstances. The Business Analyst is responsible for working with businesspartners from multiple teams across each of these regions.Essential Functions:Assist the Project Manager in identifying project stakeholders and impactedteams. Support development of project plans.Gather and document requirements specifications according to standardtemplates, using simple, clear, unambiguous, and concise language.Conduct analysis of complex stakeholder requirements. Insure standardizedrequirements across regions where possible. Insure review of upstream anddownstream impacts.Collaborate with solution design team to develop an approach that meets thestakeholder(s) requirementsCreate appropriate use cases and workflow Visio documentation to supportbusiness requirements.Document detailed User Acceptance Test Scenarios to support testing ofbusiness requirements.Support User Acceptance TestersAssist with executive level documentation of cost/benefit analysis forfunction and scope decisions.Manage changes to baselined requirements through effective and appropriateapplication of change control processes and tools.Facilitate effective, organized meetings, capturing detailed, concisemeeting notes.QualificationsRequired Experience Bachelor's Degree in Business/Health Care Administration or relateddiscipline. 5-10 years' experience in business consulting and analysis preferred Must be flexible to work with issues spanning several topics and understandposition is not restricted to one functional area.
