We are looking for a dedicated, passionate, drivenprogram leader to oversee success of the Dream Chaser spaceplane's firsthistoric mission, and drive a new era of space transportation.VP of Programs will lead the Dream Chaser team through the development,build and flight of all Dream Chaser missions. The VP Programs is accountablefor the overall direction and management of the Dream Chaser program,executing deadlines, managing and leading the team structure, ensuringlaunch timeline readiness. VP of Programs is responsible for high-profilecustomer satisfaction with products and services. Duties include leading thebudget, finances of the program and the technical and contractualobligations. Other duties as assignedMust haves:10+ years' experience in program management, development engineeringFormal training in engineering or a hard scienceIndividual should be an organized leader who can articulate vision anddeadlines, keep a team motivated while making sure the program is using thebest engineering ingenuity in design and production.Leader who inspires and has passion for the team, the vehicle and themission successOrganized with excellent communication skillsPromotes accountability for self and the teamAbility to adapt and react to changing space environmentCreates a culture of innovationPreferred:Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration isdesirableCompliance Responsibilities:Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, andCompliance regulations (internal and external)Responsible for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such asTime Sheet completion, Performance Evaluations (Anniversary andAnnual), Salary Reviews, Succession Planning, etc.Responsible for leadership oversight and for ensuring Department/Teamtraining and adherence to all SNC Policies, Procedures, and ComplianceRegulations (internal and external)Essential Functions:Minimum physical requirements to perform all duties and responsibilities, asdefined by managementSNC job descriptions are meant as summarizations only.
