Aerotek Solderer Assembler $16-$18 An Hour in Longmont, Colorado
Candidates will perform assembly operations on electronic components and sub assemblies on the production line utilizing work process procedures, written instructions, diagrams, and specifications. Primary work is conducted under a lighted magnified lens, utilizing small hand tools, machinery or applicable materials, while soldering components and assembling to printed circuit boards utilizing a soldering iron. • Primary component type soldering of thru-hole devices only. • Melt and apply solder along adjoining edges of work pieces to solder joints using a soldering iron. • Clean/polish work pieces and tip of soldering iron using chemical solution, file, or wire brush. • Apply flux to work piece surfaces in preparation for soldering. • Heat soldering iron or work piece to specified temperature for soldering, using electric current.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Basic computer skills, ability to operate machinery in production environment. Follow instructions, high attention to detail • Examine product to verify conformance to workmanship standards. • Count finished product to determine completion of production order. • Responsible for stopping processes, with communication to Production Supervisor, lead and/or engineering, to control manufacture of non-conforming assemblies. • Support and follow all ISO standards related to OnCore’s various Quality Management Systems. These systems may include, but are not limited to, quality, the environment, health, safety and security.
