Executive Services provides personal and highly sophisticated advice and financial planning to executives from corporate clients in Schwab Corporate Services (SCRS & SPS). As a part of Acquisition Delivery, Executive Services helps executives become financially fit in and outside of their employer-sponsored equity compensation and retirement accounts by deepening client relationships and assisting them with complex financial affairs.
The Executive Services approach offers a one-on-one relationship between financial consultants located in several key-positioned satellite branches and leverages subject-matter experts in areas such as Tax, Trust, and Estate Planning and Equity Compensation
What you’ll do:
As a Sr. Specialist on the Executive Services Team you will:
Partner with multiple Financial Consultants located both onsite and remotely to perform operational activities to support sales efforts. Demonstrate a passion for customer service and be a positive role model to colleagues.
Develop client relationships and be a second point of contact for practice clients while delivering a high level of customer service and attention to business development opportunities.
Utilize problem solving skills to respond to client inquiries including escalations; cost basis information, preparing advised offer applications, letters of authorization, powers of attorney etc. Implement thorough product knowledge while supporting and expanding the client experience.
Take initiative to identify, participate in and manage special projects, assignments and attend team meetings.
Maintain all related files and current marketing materials to insure audit readiness and department accordance with compliance, oversight and supervision requirements.
Stay current on compliance and oversight changes to insure the team remains within policy.
Proactively identify areas of improvement that will assist our group in reaching team goals.
What you have:
Thorough knowledge of Schwab products and services.
3-5 years’ experience in a client facing role.
Good understanding of brokerage regulations and rules that govern client accounts.
Demonstrated experience handling client concerns and issues with tact and diplomacy.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to develop and maintain positive and effective cross enterprise working relationships.
Proficient with Windows based software, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education, Licenses, and Designations
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work related experience.
Series 7 & 63 required
Series 9/10 preferred
