This is an exciting system engineer position supporting the growing Space Security division within the Mission Solutions Line of Business The selected candidate will be a systems engineer supporting the startup of a ground systems program for Mission Solutions. We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced systems engineer to join our fast-paced development effort and contribute to the success of a very challenging and rewarding mission.
Typical responsibilities include performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Writing technical documentation like ICDs, test procedures, operations procedures and CONOPS. Supporting verification and validation for the ground system. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Interfaces with the program systems and space teams to ensure successful product delivery. Customer interface and briefing skills.
The systems engineer will be a member of an agile scrum team, participating in daily scrums, bi-weekly sprint planning, release planning, and demonstrations. They must be able to communicate effectively with the team, work through roadblocks and resolve issues quickly.
The qualified individual should have a broad systems engineering skillset, and would have the following responsibilities:
- Assess ICDs, ops procedures, and training material for impacts as a result of changes to the hardware and software baseline
- Execute regression, performance, and stability testing as necessary
- Support system and element-level trades and engineering studies
- Potential occasional CONUS travel in support of installation and testing activities.
- Requirements analysis and management, use of DOORS
- Work with Information Assurance, hardware and hardware diagrams.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline or equivalent experience
• Systems Engineering experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Must have at minimum an active TS/SCI security clearance to start. Maintaining a TS/SCI Clearance throughout the course of employment is a requirement.
• Willing to consent to Polygraph
• Familiarity with System Engineering V
• Test experience
