Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO has an excellent Inspector for Receiving opportunity to work within the Special Programs organization. Special Programs has an excellent track record of stable programs with highly evolving technical requirements that drives subcontract changes on a regular basis. Special Programs has developed a significant number of future leaders with a wide variety of engagement programs and challenging work to develop individual potential.

This position will be responsible for part identification, inspection, and verification of requirements. Intensive use of detailed processes will be used to complete everyday tasks and to ensure our mission's success. The position requires collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to ensure quality and engineering requirements are met.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Material Handling experience

- Able to use basic material handling equipment and inspection tools

- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, purchase orders, contracts and statements of work, etc. as needed to verify compliance of supplier provided data

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

- Ability to obtain SCI Security Clearance

- Can work independently without direct supervision

- Excellent communication and teaming skills

- Must be able to work off shifts, overtime and non-standard work weeks as needed to meet product deliveries

- Willingness to learn
