Description ECC is looking for a Site Superintendent I for project sitesin the US for liquid fuels maintenance (LFM) repairs to Department ofDefense (DoD) Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) facilities.This position may require travel up to 90% of the time to project sites,depending on project location. Due to the travel requirements, the USlocation of the candidates is not a disqualifying factor. In this position youCoordinate with the project team, Health and Safety Officer, and QualityControl Officer for interaction of task prioritizationEnsure compliance with health and safety and quality control requirements asidentified by functional officersAttend all in-briefs and out-briefsAct as key implementer of field activities and tasks preparatory to fieldactivitiesAssist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve projectobjectives under the direction of the Project ManagerContribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical oroperational challenges and general field operationsAssist in identifying task-specific equipment to achieve the objectives of ataskWhen appropriate, operate the equipment as neededAssume the role of team lead to assist the quality control officer and healthand safety officer in maintaining compliance with project work plans,standard operating procedures, and sound field practices while achievingproject objectivesCoordinate with the team to prioritize field activities and identify taskassignments In addition to the accountabilities above, otherresponsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbentof this positionRequirements:Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problemsAbility to coordinate with staff on various task assignments and fieldactivitiesKnowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirementsTwo years of progressively responsible experience on environmental orconstruction projectsKnowledge of scheduling and budgeting for large construction projectsEducation: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering,Science, Construction Management or related field required. Equivalentcombination of education and experience may be substituted for thisrequirement.
