Dewberry is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager for our growingwater resources engineering practice within our Greenwood Village, COoffice. This is an opportunity for an individual with technical experience andbusiness acumen to become part of a renowned team of professionals working ina productive environment and applying the latest technology to a wide varietyof water resources engineering projects. This position will encompass allaspects of water resources engineering services with an emphasis onresilience, and will include project management, sub-consultantmanagement, quality control, marketing and client interface.Additionally, this position will require the development and review oftechnical reports, proposals, contract documents, resources studies,computer modeling and data analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage contracts, project scope, progress reporting, schedule,resources, and budget. Train, coach and mentor water resources departmentstaf * Lead business development and marketing with local client base andmaintain strong client relationships. * Lead all interaction with sub-consultants for water resources projects. * Perform technical calculations and review of work done by waterresources department staff. * Prepares scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments. * Assists with proposals to provide professional services. REQUIRED SKILLS & REQUIRED EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree (Master s Degree preferred) in civilengineering, environmental engineering or related field. * 10+ years of escalating professional experience in planning, designand construction of coastal and water infrastructure; however exceptionalcandidates with less experience may be considered. * PE License in Colorado is required. * Project Management expertise in local, state and federal levelcontracts. * High competency levels in multiple engineering disciplines,integrated modeling, hydrology, hydraulics, master planning,feasibility studies, stormwater design, conveyance systems design,hydraulic structures, watershed assessment, stormwater management andutility development, and stream restoration and reclamation design. * Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic, hydrodynamic modeling andengineering design programs such as HEC, SMS, CUHP, SWMM, UDFCDDesign Spreadsheets, and others * Experience managing a team ofprofessionals with a wide array of skill sets, work with project teams andprovide planning, technical leadership, and coordination with supportingtechnical disciplines to complete integrated design. * Proven ability to effectively achieve positive results in marketing andbusiness development including experience preparing technical and costproposals for municipal and private clients. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. *At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for workauthorization. *Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
