DescriptionThe OpportunityUlteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for our open SurveyTechnician opportunity. The Survey Technician is responsible for field surveydata gathering and layouts of the assigned projects. The position has theopportunity for advancement for the motivated individual willing to learn theskills and technology required of a Professional Land Surveyor.What You Will DoThe Survey Technician is responsible for field survey data gathering andlayouts of the assigned projects. The role participates in the execution ofnumerous survey projects and interacts with their respective team leader.Prepares project equipment and supplies. Works with all members of the surveyteam to accomplish the daily tasks.What We Expect from YouAssociates of Science degree in Surveying or equivalent preferredMay fill as entry level position or up to 2 years of related experiencepreferred.Will participate in construction surveys, boundary surveys, topographicsurveys, retracement surveys and ALTA surveys as they relate to;municipal, DOT, energy, renewable wind, and solar projects.Demonstrated ability to operate all survey field equipment (GPS, RoboticTotal Station, data controllers, etc.) a plus.AutoCAD experience, survey data processing software knowledge and experiencein Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) a plus.Must have authorization to work permanently in the USWhat You Can Expect from UlteigFor 75 years, we've built a culture focused on people - both our clientsand our employees.
