Charter Communications/Spectrum Sr Commercial Contracts Specialist in Greenwood Village, Colorado

JOB SUMMARYProvides pre-award and post award contracting support to the organization.Acts as point contact person to manage the Ariba ECLM system, non-disclosureagreement and other standard agreement processes. Necessitates anunderstanding of contracting methods and contract types used in performingpre-award, post award functions and works closely with business owners totrack and maintain and manage enterprise wide agreements. Proactively assistsin special projects as needed.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance thecustomer experience. * Manages the contract lifecycle process. * Knowledge of contract management of various types of contractsincluding new contracts, change orders, addendums, amendments,supplements, renewals and terminations. * Achieve timely execution of contracts in accordance to commitments andobligations to meet customer expectations and timelines. * Coordinate with management to ensure current contract commitments aremanaged while focusing on timely delivery. * Develop, create, and maintain corporate repository of contracts,through the use of a database for tracking, electronic and hard-copy storageof executed contracts. * Work with internal departments to problem solve, implement changes,communicate compliance with contractual and settlement commitments. * Corresponding and maintaining relationships with internal clients * Acts as a point of contact for contracts and contract services. * Acts as a resource for company processes, policy interpretation andcompany procedures. * Develops and distributes required reports to monitor and ensurecompliance with contract provisions, SOX compliance and contract timelines. * Acts as primary point person for non-disclosure agreements,facilitating efficient execution, negotiating basic terms and seeking legalguidance in advanced NDA matters. * Supports internal stakeholders in matters of vendor setup, invoiceprocessing and budget coordination. * Perform other duties as requested by supervisorREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and Knowledge * Ability to read, write, speak and understand English * Ability to interpret and understand common technical journals,financial reports, regulatory orders, and legal documents * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required, e.g.Excel, Word and PowerPoint * Knowledge of business contracts construction, reviewing and drafting * Excellent verbal and written communication skills required * Ability to interact proficiently with peers, clients and otherprofessionals * Ability to listen to multiple points of view and synthesize againstgoals for recommendations * Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and independently * Ability to communicate with all levels of management and companypersonnel * Strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multipleprojects at one time effectively * Ability to show judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties * Ability to maintain poise and professional demeanor in stressfulsituations * Ability to work independently * Knowledge of general accounting and billing procedures * Demonstrates strong ability to work cross functionally within a diverseteam environment * Solid document repository knowledge and skills * Strong analytical and problem solving skillsEducationBachelor s degree or equivalent experience in contract managementRelated Work Experience * Contract management * Reporting tracking and analysis tools * Legal and financial aspects of procurementPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and Knowledge * Possesses an understanding of the Ariba ECLM application or a similartool, including system functionality.
