APTIM Creative Designer Intern in Greenwood Village, Colorado
The Creative Designer Intern is an individual who is interested in learning about the development of proposal and marketing graphics. Critical attributes include exceptional creativity, communication, teamwork, flexibility, responsiveness, and a "do-whatever-it-takes" to get the job done right attitude.
Responsible for updating and potentially developing client-focused visual information.
Will work as part of a larger business development and marketing team to help craft winning solutions to client Request for Proposals (RFP), updates to digital asset management systems, and other sales related pieces.
Design of proposal covers/tabs, charts/graphs, photo treatments, templates/layouts, and other infographics necessary to convey the story.
Will provide production support.
Support graphic development throughout the creative process.
Working collaboratively with the creative services team making changes to proposal graphics and templates, providing production support such as, printing standard and full bleed marketing materials, trimming covers and spines, assembling binders and packaging, and receiving input and direction form proposal managers and senior creative designers.
Education in fine arts, graphic design, visual communications, or equivalent
Proficient knowledge in the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat) software
Intermediate knowledge in use of Microsoft PowerPoint
Basic knowledge in use of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to manage creative projects with strict deadlines.
The Junior Creative Designer must be eager to learn about the proposal process and developing skills to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-volume environment.
The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, excel in time management, and work well under stress.
The position requires attention to detail.
Must have a basic understanding of graphic design, marketing, and brand management.
Additional Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with photography
Experience with producing and or designing marketing materials
Ability to sketch and conceptualize ideas into clear and compelling visuals
Familiarity with large, production-oriented printers and full-bleed printing
