As a Sales Manager, you will beexpected to have willingness to work closely with others, be a team leaderin promoting company growth and service the customer. This is an ExemptpositiPurpose:The Branch Sales Manager exemplifies leadership to the loan sales team bydirecting, managing and developing his/her team-members successfully. Theincumbent is also responsible in the day-to-day operations and employeeproduction activities for their branch location; ensuring efficient customerservice is provided andquality loans are generated to meet production goals and the needs of thebusiness.Essential Functions/Duties:Manage and direct the day-to-day business development and operations of thebranch location in order to meet the needs of the business. This also includesbut notlimited to:1. Directly manages Full-Time employees.2. Setting-up and monitoring production goals and requirements. Annual andsemi-annual performance evaluations.3. Establishing 'Performance Improvement Plans' (PIPs) for sales teammembers that are under performing.4. Disciplinary recommendations and participation in disciplinary sessions.5. Recruitment and recommendations on hiring and terminations regardingemployees.6. Implementing procedures and plans for short or long-term businessdevelopment to management.7. Investigate and resolve matters of significance relating to employees,customers or branch business operations.8. Attract new mortgage loan applications by developing referral relationshipswithin the community, specifically with targeted business partners includingreal estateagents, homebuilders, financial advisors, CPAs, attorneys,bankers, mortgage brokers and prior clients; making sales calls toprospective clients which entails considerable time away from the office forbusiness development.9. Train and develop employees on how to generate mortgage loans by developingnew client business contacts and relationships. Manage on-going clientrelationships by participating in sales meetings, maintain sales activityjournals enabling tracking of progress toward achievement of performance plangoals, maintaining personal networks; participation in professionalorganizations and educational opportunities.10. Train and develop employees to meet the Company's mortgage loan qualitystandards by producing and submitting qualified loan applications fromqualified borrowers with appropriate financial information and creditinformation and priced to meet the company's targeted threshold as set fromtime to time; submittingbank-compliant loan packages to processing and the importance of clientfollow-up in relationship management.11. Train and develop employees in producing appropriate numbers that meet orexceed the Company's standard; pre-qualifies borrowers before submittingto processors by examining application and supporting documentation,estimating credit-worthiness, calculating repayment risk. Following-up andassisting trainees in all activities (including negotiation of terms) thatis required to bring a loan to closing.12. Train and develop employees to complete loan closings on timely basis bymonitoring application process, conferring with loan processors on dataneeded, advising clients on process status and obtaining and verifyingneeded information; monitoring loan document preparation; and schedulingand attending mortgageloan closings. Ensure that any post-closing conditions are collected anddelivered promptly.13. Protect Company's reputation and image by delivering a high level ofcustomer service and keeping mortgage loan information confidential.14. Conduct human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training,scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and assessingemployees providing guidance as needed;
