THIS TERRITORY ENCOMPASSES GRAND JUNCTION, GUNNISON AND STEAMBOAT SPRINGS,COLORADO. JOB DESCRIPTION: Details and sells pharmaceuticals, biologicals, sundries,equipment, programs and services through in-person sales calls to veterinaryprofessionals in an assigned territory by contacting all accounts on aregular, routine, and consistent basis. Develops sales strategy for territory in conjunction with Region Managerby reviewing sales reports, account records, and trend information toincrease territorial growth and increase sales volume. Maintains or exceeds territory sales projections monthly as well asannually. Performs administrative tasks in a timely manner including, but notlimited to: submission of expense and sales reports; processing of creditsand returns; responding to and servicing customer requests for literature,credits, and bids; and maintaining account records, including invoicehistory, and account vital statistics. Works closely with Inside Sales Representatives and other internaldepartments to develop, maintain and service accounts in an effort toincrease sales. Communicates with credit, collections, and customer service to assistin identifying, resolving, and collecting debt from accounts in a timelybasis. Develops and implements an account call system to productively manageaccounts within a given territory. Strengthens customer relationships by resolving service problems withproducts, invoicing, or shipping; making minor equipment repairs; etc. Establishes team spirit by building professional relationships withcustomers, trade associates, and regional team members in order to enhancepersonal and corporate productivity and image. Educates veterinary professionals and staff by detailing newpharmaceuticals, biologicals, sundries, and equipment. Works with supplier/vendor representatives to detail and install theirprograms and products to strengthen long-term relationships. Attends Regional trade shows on an as-needed basis and assists witheducating attendees about Animal Health products by promoting theCompany in a positive and professional manner. REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor s degree in business management or animal health science ispreferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience commensurateto fulfill all of the above Duties and Responsibilities is acceptable. At least two (2) years of experience B2B sales, preferably workingin a veterinary or distribution environment.
