DescriptionCorps/Department: Grand Junction Corps and Thrift StoresReports to: Office Manager and Corps OfficersFLSA Status: Hourly/Non-exempt, full timeThis is a full time (40 hours/week), hourly, non-exempt positionpaying $13.26/hour with vacation and sick time as well as medical,dental, and optional insurance coverages.Scope of Position: General maintenance of all buildings and grounds of TheSalvation Army Grand Junction Corps.Essential Functions:1. Maintain and/or arrange for upkeep and repair of all TSA facilities inGrand Junction, Clifton, Delta, and Montrose, to include somecustodial functions.2. Maintain grounds at the Corps Officer's quarters.3. Maintain and/or arrange for upkeep and repair on all TSA vehicles. Keepscheduled preventative maintenance documentation and follow-up.4. Deliver and/or arrange for delivery of supplies to the thrift stores.5. Work with EDS services regarding the canteen, in preparation for anydisaster responses.6. Help coordinate and deliver/pick-up during annual food drives, coatdrives, and the kettle campaign.7. Assist with logistics on all holidays.8. Perform other duties as assigned by the Office Manager and/or the CorpsOfficers.Education and Work Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required.Must have experience in general, vehicle, and ground maintenance.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Experience commensurate withthis job description. Must be able to successfully complete a backgroundscreening. Must have a valid Colorado driver's license.Software-related skills: Microsoft Word and Excel required, MicrosoftOutlook, Working knowledge of integrated database applications and abilityto use new software programs with basic training.Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb,kneel and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp,push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate telephone. Ability tolift up to 50 pounds. Ability to access and produce information from thecomputer. Ability to understand written information. Qualifies individualsmust be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or withoutaccommodation.
