The Eddy Taproom and Hotel Taproom Lead Bartender in Golden, Colorado
The Lead Bartender position will require you to interact one on one with theguests, take their orders, make cocktails utilizing company servicestandards, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will be responsible formaintaining an issued cash bank throughout your shift. You will also beactively marketing yourself and the establishment through various social mediaoutreach and staff outings. This role will contribute to the organization asan active business partner that is responsible for supporting the company'sgoals, objectives, vision, mission, and values. This role will alsosupport the Taproom leadership team in overseeing the bar team.Essential FunctionsMajor areas of responsibility/ management include, but are not limited to:Consistently following Food and Beverage sequence of service utilizing allproper procedures standardized by venue managers and chefsExhibiting proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of bothnon-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered whilemaintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the barAnticipating the guests' needs and responding appropriately with a sense ofurgencyCleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintaining equipmentin good working order while following all procedures and policies set forth bythe company, division, department and County health department.Working as a team and effectively communicating with management, bartendersand service staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needsrequested by guests and/or other Associates.Qualifications3 years restaurant experience and/or 2 years' experience bartending in asimilar establishment. Must have extensive knowledge of Spirits, Wine and FoodMust possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work underpressureExcellent customer service skills and a Positive attitude are requiredAbility to read and write in English proficientlyMust have basic math skills and be able to use a calculatorMust be 21 years of age and possess Tips and Food Handlers cardsBoutique hotel experience strongly preferredHigh school or equivalent education preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours inlength. Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functionsoccurring simultaneously. Must be able to lift up to 15-40 lbs. on a regularand continuing basis. Must be able to walk, stand, sit, bend, stoop,squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Must have finger dexterity to be able tooperate office equipment.
