Job Title: Site SuperintendentReports To: Site Project ManagerFLSA Status: ExemptDepartment: ConstructionIndustrial Constructors/Managers, Inc. serves the manufacturing andprocess industries with safely executed industrial and commercial constructionprojects. Industries include mining and material processing, food andbeverage, power generation, aerospace, pharmaceutical,transportation, engineering, and construction.Industrial Constructors/Manager's, Inc. is seeking an Industrial SiteSuperintendent with an emphasis on the Millwright trade to join our team at alarge food and beverage facility.Summary: The Site Superintendent is responsible for running the day-to-dayoperations on the construction site and control of the short-term schedule.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties maybe assigned as referred by the project scope. Determine manpower needs Establish daily/weekly production goals Coordinate with inhouse craft GFs Coordinate, direct, and monitor the activities of subcontractors Create 3 and 8 week look ahead schedules Ensure projects meet schedule and budget goals Lead weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and Gfs Must frequently meet with customers and develop good working relationships Schedule tests and inspections with QA/QC Assist Project Manager with weekly and monthly project schedule updatesto include start/finish dates of activities, percent complete, and daysremaining in the activities Knowledgeable and conversant in the requirements of the company'ssafety manual and quality manual. Must ensure that all project documentation is completed daily,including all safety and quality documentation. Must be conversant with current workmanship requirements such as thosecontained in AWS, AREMA, AISC, or other specifications Is responsible for all tools and equipment at the site. Must be able to create rigging plans and thoroughly understandmechanical systems such as bottle lines, palletizers, filter presses, etc. Must be able to go on job walks with the customer, provide estimatesand provide solutions to the customers problems. Must be very organized and understand all aspects of the project scope.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must beable to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely.
