We offer a professional and fun work environment withfrequent free lunches, snacks, lunch and learns, socials, contests,outings and other events.Job you will doTypical Day in the LifeA typical day as an Exempt Organization Senior Associate in Colorado mightinclude the following:Prepare/review annual information returns for exempt organization clientsincluding Form 990, Form 990-T and Form 990-PF (and related state returns).Gather relevant tax-related information from the client to prepare accuratetax returns.Participate in audit planning meetings, client interviews and client boardmeetingsAssist with analysis of alternative investments for foreign and statereporting issues and assist with state and foreign returns.Perform special tax projects and research for clients while assisting membersof the National Tax OfficeCommunicate with clients, audit teams and other tax professionalsManage numerous client expectations to ensure tax returns are completedcorrectly and by the required deadline.Help develop and manage client relationshipsParticipate in professional association meetings and forumsWho You AreYou possess excellent oral and written communication skills.You are a self-starter and are able to work independently.You hold yourself to high ethical standards and maintain clientconfidentiality.You have knowledge of and experience working with tax-exempt organizations andthe ability to read a financial statement.You take pride in helping others and are passionate about working withnonprofits.You have strong computer skills and are proficient in Microsoft Office.You have the ability to work under pressure and against deadlines.In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting orrelated field and have 2-5 years of experience in public accounting tax work.This position may be located at our Denver, Boulder, or Fort Collinslocations.Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without therequirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.Benefits and CompensationThe salary range for this position is $62,000 - $76,000.Benefits for the position will include Medical, Dental, and Vision.What to Expect NextWe'll be in touch!
