As a member ofIn-Situ's management team, the IT Director will be an integral part a teamof talented IT professionals ensuring a solid IT infrastructure, robust ITsecurity, delivery of consultative application support and delivery ofrelevant and timely data for the global In-Situ team.Primary ResponsibilitiesIn this area, you will plan, coordinate, direct, design and assistimplementing all operational activities of the IT department, as well asprovide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-criticalbusiness operations. This individual will collaborate directly with themanagement team and decision makers in other departments to identify,recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technologysolutions for all aspects of the organization. This role will develop andmanage application portfolios for each department and attain all IT servicelevel agreements for the user community within the organization. This rolealso helps to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementinginformation technology initiatives across all areas of the globalorganization.Strategy and Planning:Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of the businessorganization.Lead IT strategic planning to achieve business goals by fosteringinnovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, and operational planning bycoordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current andfuture IT systems, project planning, and organizing and negotiating theallocation of resources.Develop and maintain an appropriate IT organizational structure that supportsthe needs of the business.Establish IT departmental goals, objectives, and operating procedures.Establish lines of control for current and proposed information systems.Ensure IT system operation adheres to applicable laws and regulations.Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery andbusiness continuity plan.Acquisition and DeploymentDevelop, track and control the information technology annual operating andcapital budgets.Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry, including currenttechnologies and prices. Advise, counsel, and educate executives andmanagement on their competitive or financial impact.Promote and oversee strategic relationships between internal IT resources andexternal entities, including government, vendors, and partner organizations.Operational ManagementAct as an advocate for the organization's IT vision via regular written andin-person communications with the organization's executives, departmentheads, and end users.Define and communicate project milestones, service level agreements, andresource allocation to executive team, department leads, support staff,and end users.Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for ITspending and initiatives.Coordinate and facilitate consultation with stakeholders to define businessand systems requirements for new technology implementations.Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make
