Are you an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper who enjoys taking on new challenges? Accountemps is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to prepare and process financial statements and accounts and manage all general accounting and bookkeeping essential functions with a company in the Service industry. Candidates with excellent organizational skills, strong communication tactics, and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines will be best fit for this position. This short-term temporary-to-full-time Full Charge Bookkeeper opportunity is based in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Overseeing accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers
Carefully filing documents to preserve historical records
Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections
Handling bank and general ledger reconciliations, as well as payroll processing
Preparing depreciation schedules by tracking fixed assets
Studying and implementing federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions
Preparing the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and statements regarding income and cash flows
Completing monthly, quarterly, and year end close, on time and in an accurate manner

Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Excel, Quickbooks, and Peachtree experience desired
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
5+ years of relevant experience in bookkeeping
Previous experience with payroll preferred
Proficient in accrual and cash basis of accounting
High school diploma or equivalent, AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred
Practical knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Journal entries experience
General familiarity with expense management
Adeptness in bank reconciliations
Solid understanding of Made2Manage
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Accounts Receivable (AR) experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Credit Card Reconciliation
General ledger experience preferred
Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
