If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.Job Description:The Design Verification Engineer is a technically challenging position withinBroadcom's ASIC Product Divisions Processor Solutions Engineering team. Thefocus of the position within the team is to support verification of processorbased systems, SoCs, and developed IP utilizing leading-edge verificationtools and methodologies. Responsibilities will include a variety of advancedverification tasks such as: verification environment development usingmodern verification techniques; integrating verification components such asbus functional models, monitors, and behavioral models; implementing anddriving code and functional coverage based verification using SystemVerilog; and developing random and directed test cases against thespecification. This position will also be responsible for analyzing anddebugging simulation failures, as well as analyzing coverage metrics.Candidate must be a highly productive individual contributor with ademonstrated technical capability in system and sub-block level verification.Requirements / Qualifications / Technical Skills:BSEE with 8+ years of verification experience using constrained-randomcoverage driven verification environments.Experience with verification development of processor based systems usingmicro-controller bus architectures and integrated device controller andperipherals.Experience with verification development of custom developed IP in UVMenvironments.Demonstrated leadership of a verification development programs including:defining strategy, methodology, and timelines; developing verificationinfrastructure and testing plans; and provide guidance and support to teammemberFluent knowledge of RTL verification methodologies including System Verilog.Strong working knowledge of object oriented verification languages (OVM,UVM, etc.), C/C++, Perl, and scripting skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be comfortable working ina team environment with verification team and design team members.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex verification trade-offscenarios.Experience with hardware design and debug, SystemC and other programminglanguages are a strong plus.Experience working with IO controller including DDR is a plus.Broadcom is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
