Thisposition is specifically responsible for performing education, inspection,investigation, and enforcement functions to ensure compliance with COVID-19safety protocols in Larimer County schools, businesses, and/or communitysettin ResponsibilitiesSpecifically, this position:Educates partners on public health concerns to ensure compliance with COVID-19safety protocols in Larimer County schools, businesses, and/or communitysettings.Assesses community concerns and needs, plans program goals and objectives ofCOVID-19 accordingly.Develops and implements promotional strategies for COVID-19 education and actsas a department representative for community activities.Collaborates with program staff and supervisor to evaluate effectiveness ofCOVID-19 prevention strategies.Assists in the design, development, implementation, and promotion ofCOVID-19 prevention programs and services.Identifies health issues and needs and collaborates with community-basedorganizations and educates partners on health concerns regarding COVID-19.Shares COVID-19 information regarding relevant health care services and makesreferrals to partners.Advocates for public health services and programs for COVID-19.Acts as a resource or expert in COVID-19 for department and communityagencies.To view the full job description, click .The ideal candidate will:Have a working knowledge of the COVID-19 responseBe comfortable interacting with the public and with community partnersCommunicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.Have excellent customer service.Be able to work well independently and with others.Have flexibility and problem solving skills with community partners. QualificationsAll candidates will be screened for the following required minimumqualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualificationslisted as required will be eliminated from the process.One (1) year of experience in health education, non-profit services,health services, or a directly related field or in the performance ofsimilar duties and responsibilities required.Equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or universitywith major coursework in Health Education, Public Health, HealthScience, or a related field.Possession of a valid Driver's License within 6 months of hire required.Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred. Supplemental InformationThis is a temporary position. This position may require working evenings andweekends.An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of apre-employment drug screen.
