NATECH is recruiting for a Network Administrator (CSA II) to support theFt. Carson Mission Training Complex (MTC) program in Ft. Carson, CO.The Ft. Carson MTC provides top-tier training for US military service membersand partners at Ft. Carson and exercise support to the US and Coalitionforces. We provide high-quality simulation-driven training tools for TrainingUnit Commanders (TUC) to conduct individual, leader and collectivemission command training. This position is an exciting opportunity fortalented individuals to contribute to the training of America's warfighter.Duties will include but not be limited to overall support for setting up andmaintaining the physical network required for the Mission Training Complex(MTC) classrooms, VBS2 Enhanced Convoy Training System, and BattleSimulations Center (BSC).Utilize expert knowledge of Army Mission Command Systems and Army BattleCommand Server V5 to develop network architectures for Battle CommandExercises and coordinate requirements with the units.Creating and installing LAN cables, and physical moving .and. arranging ofequipment.Resolve interoperability problems to obtain operations across all Army BattleCommand System (ABCS) platforms including email, file transfer,multimedia, and teleconferencing.Responsible for the configuration .and. maintenance of the Cisco Call Manager.and. Cisco IP Phone Network. Analyze voice, data, and multi-mediacommunications networks, including planning, designing, evaluating,selecting, and upgrading operating systems and protocol suites andconfiguring communication media, and other devices.Perform system administration duties and provide technical support andtroubleshooting to users.Coordinate requirements with the JLCCTC ERF Federation users and senior systemadministrators.Administer network security and work with vendors to evaluate new products andresolve equipment design problems.Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced system engineers andother technical staff.Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and participate in specialprojects.Secondary duties will include being familiar with Risk Management Frameworkpolicies and procedures. This will include scanning, remediation,patching, installing IAVA's and STIGS on Network devices, Networkmanagement servers, IPS and IDS servers and any management laptops. Providescross training for other technicians and perform other duties assigned by thesite manager.RequirementsRequired Qualifications:Must have a minimum of six years of experience in information technology.Capable of performing tasks at the system administrator/networkadministrator level, with a working knowledge of Red Hat, Windows andSolaris operating systems.Knowledge of and Experience with configuration and Administration of ArmyBattle Command Servers and administration of Army mission command servers isrequired.CompTIA certification in, Security+ as per DoD 8570 requirements.Must be a US citizen with a secret or higher security clearance or the abilityto obtain one; applicant will be subject to a government securityinvestigation.Must be willing to travel outside Fort Carson 2-4 times/year for up to 3week/trip.Must be a disciplined worker capable of meeting short suspense's withoutintense supervision.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent work experience isa plusJoint or Corps/theater staff experience a plus.
