Tax Program Coordinator
The Tax Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for ensuring that
the tasks and projects that precede, follow or support our annual tax
compliance season are completed successfully and in a timely manner. In addition, this position will maintain and
support department infrastructure (processes and software) as well as provide
administrative support to the tax team. Approximately
80% of this position’s time will be spent performing the more project-oriented
tasks with the remaining 20% being administrative support.
Leads, coordinates and prepares compensation reporting for Form 990 preparation, including requesting data from multiples sources, consolidating, importing and maintaining that data in the compensation database.
Assist with tax information data gathering, including populating financial data organizers, extracting general ledger reports, and other tasks as needed.
Prepare and file sales and use tax returns.
Responsible for submitting all federal EFTPS payments for all connected MBOs including maintaining EFTPS payment tracking information.
Maintain tax software programs (including CaseWare, ProSystem, EFTPS, File In Time, CTRAC) including licensing, assisting with staff installations and tracking login information.
Track tax notices
Standard administrative functions such as scanning and saving documents, coordinating travel arrangements and scheduling and planning meetings.
Preparation of small for profit and exempt income and information tax returns.
Prepare and update Form 990 standard disclosures
Track and distribute conflict of interest questionnaires.
Prepare Form 990 Schedule R
Minimum 3 years of Project Management Experience
Software: Microsoft Office, Lawson; must be able to work proactively, independently and be able to demonstrate strong communication skills
Tax Experience Preferred
