Description
We are looking for a long-term temporary-to-full-time Senior Financial Analyst for one of our clients. This Senior Financial Analyst will be placed at the Englewood, Colorado office. This is a position for someone who wants to be our client's primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. You'll be interested in this Senior Financial Analyst consultant position if you want to perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments supporting public reporting requirements, and provide decision-making support for future company investments.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with Operations and Accounting to drive improved management reporting by tracking financial results more discreetly and accurately
Help create sustainable business, operational, and financial processes to be understood by all necessary teams
Provide management reporting, accounting and compliance guidance, and ensure alignment of operational initiatives by working closely with the Functional leads
Advance existing management reporting - analyze financial results, distill and synthesize key issues, communicate integral updates to senior management
Build advantageous relationships with integral business partners and Finance/Accounting leadership
Optimize business performance by identifying and executing financial analysis
Survey financial results, condense key trends, appraise current and future business risks, and relay critical updates to senior leadership in the course of normal preparation of monthly and quarterly management reporting
Handle ad-hoc analysis and presentation requests

Requirements
5+ years experience in operations finance necessary
Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
Necessary education includes a BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint
-Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics desirable
Highly-skilled in office systems, reporting software, databases and other BI tools recommended
Ability to apply critical thinking and critical decision making skills with management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
