Position can be based in either ourConcord, CA or our Denver (Englewood), CO office.ResponsibilitiesReview key aspects of the project contract. With the guidance of lead projectcontrol staff, assist with cost controls, planning/scheduling, andestimating activities that support the overall proposal strategy or projectrequirements.Understand the cross-discipline relations within the project team.Understand the aspects and relationships of risk, cost, and quantities onthe project.With the guidance of lead project controls staff, execute proper controls toproactively support, monitor, and communicate budget, actual status andforecast costs, labor hours, and quantities for projects within a specificbusiness unit.Support the project team with change identification, documentation, andcosting.Collect and input timely and accurate cost data for cost report development.Understand the basic concepts of performance measurement.Develop accurate and timely project cost forecasts with the guidance of leadproject controls staff.Identify cost control trends.Understand the basic concepts of cash flow.Create client and internal status reports that effectively communicate coststatus and trends. Identify potential corrective actions for implementation.Understand common scheduling techniques using the critical path method.Understand the relationship between the project estimate, work breakdownstructure, and schedule.Collect and input accurate and timely data for schedule development andupdates.Understand the aspects and relationships of project risk, cost, andduration and the basic concepts of schedule risk analysis.Support projects with analysis of schedule impacts due to project changes.Collect and input data to support project labor hour forecasts.Create client and internal status reports that effectively communicateschedule status and identify critical path.
