We investigate, select, develop, and integratetechnologies and solutions that meet the needs of the company for short,medium and long term initiatives. This includes the delivery of the technologyplan and future architecture for Voice, Video, Data, Optical,Commercial, Cloud, CPE, Network and Access.Job SummaryResponsible for providing direction and leadership to designated staff.Maintain product integrity and oversee engineering initiatives. Coordinate andcollaborate with Construction, Dispatch, Warehouse, Technical Operationsand Care operations to ensure optimal customer experience. Responsible forpurchasing, budgeting, deployment of new products, assisting withcapital projects and the hiring, training, development, and performancemanagement of staff.Major Duties and ResponsibilitesActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance thecustomer experienceManage engineering staff involved in the design, implementation,maintenance, enhancement and troubleshooting of support tools.Oversee agile team activities including assigning resources to Scrum teams,managing team member capacity and metrics for tracking admin time spentsupporting external teams.Develop process and procedures for supporting application standardization andautomation.
