Provide human resources support, guidance, and expertise tomanagement and employees of Duro Electric relating to employment,compensation, benefits, training and development, and employee relations.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS1. Coordinate the employment recruitment, screening and referral processes.Provide guidance and expertise to hiring managers and participate in theemployment selection process. Coordinate new employee orientations,terminations, and transfers.2. Manages employee files along with other compliance or requests foremployment information.3. Consults with supervisors and managers on diverse employee relations,organizational and human resource issues including coaching and disciplinaryaction. Assists with the investigation and resolution of employee complaints.4. Develops, administers, communicates, and interprets policies thatrelate to the human resources function, i.e., preventing sexual harassmentand violence in the workplace, overtime, benefits, FMLA, and paid timeoff, etc5. Completes ongoing duties required to maintain the compensation plan bycompiling and analyzing survey data, preparing job documentation,evaluating jobs, and developing recommendations.6. Assists with management and coordination of manpower on various job sites.7. Assists with the various surveys and employee engagement in the workplace.8. Assists with determining incentive targets and eligibility.9. Coordinate, develop and/or provide training and development programs asnecessary for employment law compliance and employee development.10. Acts as Human Resources liaison between CSG companies and Duro Electric.11. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUMEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEMust possess a working knowledge of business and human resources practices ata level normally acquired through completion of a four-year degree in businessadministration or human resource management. Experience in the constructionindustry is beneficial.KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESKnowledge of employment, benefits and compensation laws, policies andpractices. Strong office skills including working with Microsoft Officeproducts such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Requires some analyticalskills and excellent oral and written communication skills.PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEFive years of prior HR work experience in the construction industry includingwork with compensation and benefits preferred.
