Please complete this assessment as soonas possible*Position Summary:Responsible for verifying patient diet orders, passing food trays topatients, and passing nourishments. Under direct supervision of theSupervisor and Patient Service Mgr., the dietary assistant performs avariety of food service duties for patients, employees, medical staff,and visitors. Completes assigned sanitation, dish room duties and otherrelated tasks. Effective communication skills oral and written required.Maintain high level of customer service at all times. Experience: Prior healthcare related food service experience preferred, but willtrain on the job.C. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must be knowledgeable in food handling, safety and sanitation and befamiliar with therapeutic diets. Able to read and write English with computer skills preferred.
