As a Configuration Analyst, you will manage the configuration of ourengineering and manufacturing products through the use of a Product LifecycleManagement (PLM) system. These cover a very wide range, from advancedmission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft toorbital and space exploration systems. You'll plan and coordinate thepreparation of product structure to ensure compliance with customerrequirements, company standards, and industry standards. This includesinput and accuracy of Product Data to include Parts and Bills of Materials(BoMs) as well as auditing the Configuration Management systems usage andverification of product configuration.At SNC's ISR, Aviation and Security (IAS) team we are a leading mannedand unmanned aircraft systems integrator for high-performance intelligence,surveillance and reconnaissance, and aviation systems. IAS tailors solutionsto customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs toconsistently exceed expectations and provide a turnkey approach to enable ourcustomers to focus on their mission.Must-haves:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study andat least 6 years of relevant experience. A higher level degree may substitutefor experience. Related experience may be considered in lieu of requirededucation.Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teamsUnderstanding of Documentation Control Database systemsDesire for new challenges, to be on the ground floor of an excitingcapability for our nation, and to be part of the initial cadre developing anew multi-domain system.An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance with SAP eligibility requiredPreferred:Experience using PDM/PLM systems such as Windchill, Enovia 3Dxperiencesoftware, and CAD tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, NX, ProEngineer,AutoCAD, CATBackground in the Aerospace and Defense IndustryKnowledge of industry-standard design principles, to include, but notlimited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardwareand or electrical component selection, fabrication, manufacturing, andproduction processesUnderstanding of the engineering release and control process for all dataassociated with system, mechanical, electrical, printed circuit boardand/or software productsExperience with AS 9100, ISO 9001, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, IEEE 828 and/or CMMIAbility to rapidly work on projects involving both small and largeEngineering, Operations, and Program Management teams.Skilled in product configuration definition and product structure developmentAbility to generate and maintain Product Structures compliant with all productline items required by various Engineering and Operations groupsCertification in Configuration Management disciplinesFamiliarity with preparation and development of project estimates, technicalproposals, and program cost and schedule management.An active Top Secret with SCI eligibility US Security clearance.IMPORTANT NOTICE:This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
