As an Account Executive, you will serve a US territory while located in a Denver based office. Account Executive's help providers of drinking water, usually municipal water purveyors, to fix data management issues and improve their regulatory compliance programs, by selling them software solutions from Aquatic Informatics.
Responsibilities will include:
Provide consultative, solutions-based information to water and wastewater organizations, to help them understand how solutions from Aquatic Informatics can meet their business needs and solve their water quality and compliance reporting challenges.
Network with colleagues in the environmental and municipal water space at conferences and tradeshows to stay abreast of topics in your territory that are driving water quality compliance and reporting.
Drive sales growth in your territory.
Identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
Provide proposals and sales presentations.
Travel up to 30% of your time.
- Post-secondary degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Track record of closing software deals and consistently exceeding sales targets.
Enterprise or cloud software sales in the environmental and/or the water industry preferred.
Consultative solutions-based sales or direct sales experience preferred.
Proven independent, results driven work ethic.
A self-starter and teammate who is motivated to succeed.
Superior people/customer relationship skills.
Ability to learn new software applications quickly.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
Willingness and ability to travel.
