Systems Analyst IDuties: To perform a variety of duties in the design, development,testing, launch, and maintenance of the City's full-service computerizedinformation systems. To apply proven communication, analytical andproblem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve systemsissues in order to maximizethe benefit of city technical systems investments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Administer all applications included in the Office 365 suite2. Administer a Microsoft Exchange hybrid environment, including themanagement of users in ActiveDirectory and Office 3653. Implement and promote new Office 365 applications4. Train City employees on the various aspects of the Office 365 environmentin a classroom setting, incollaborative online environments, and in other formats5. Acquaint users with new operating systems and software as they receive newcomputers6. Facilitate training on other technical topics, including presentations byother Information Servicespersonnel7. In a joint assignment with the Systems Analyst III, support the InnopriseERP (Enterprise ResourcePlanning) suite by managing Windows updates on servers, troubleshootingissues, and coordinatingwith the software provider (Harris Computer Systems) on issues and upgrades8. Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to helpidentify, communicate, andresolve systems issues to maximize the benefit of city technical systemsinvestments.Other Duties:1. Attend and participate in professional group meetings, conferences andtechnical training; stay abreastof new trends and innovations in information systems.2. Write technical documentation associated with duties of the position;ensure compliance withestablished standards and procedures.3. Provide orientation and training to end users.4. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisoryresponsibilities and reports to theInformation Services Division Systems Analyst III.Requirements: Characteristics and capabilities of computer, voice andwireless systems and related equipment.Principles, methods and techniques for electronic commerce, internetstandards and protocols, security,and database connectivity relating to internet-based development andadministration, design and systemintegration technology, and graphic design.Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software andhardware solutions,systems, or products.Principles and practices of systems analysis, programming anddocumentation, database administration,security and backup.Characteristics of Windows networks, including administration,protocols, and IP addressing.Ability to:Read, interpret and apply technical publications, manuals and other documents.Analyze data and develop logical solutions to computer application problems.Make recommendations in computer selection and software application packages.Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contactedin the course of work.Maintain mental capacity which allows the capability of making sound decisionsand demonstration ofintellectual capabilities.Education or Formal Training and Licenses:Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or universitywith major course work incomputer science, management information systems, business administrationor a related field, butequivalency in work experience may be substituted for the degree.Experience: Two years of increasingly responsible experience in informationsystems.Wage: $56,264 annually + benefitsDay and Hours: Full timeLocation: Durango, COApplication Instructions: Apply online (Open Until Filled)Requires successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
