KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Practice Operations to join our Tax Transformation and Technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with our Tax Technology Office of Portfolio Management Team to facilitate and guide product managers/owners through the Technology Risk Review Process in order to successfully deploy technology

  • Conduct orientation and progress reviews for simple to intermediate review projects

  • Manage and support multiple new technology requests from Tax; apply comprehensive knowledge of the approval process and acts as trusted advisor to Tax staff seeking internal approvals for technology initiatives

  • Assist in accelerating speed-to-market while balancing risk identification and mitigation

  • Compiles the value proposition, business and technology requirements, scope, and required next steps for simple to intermediate review projects toward approving new technology requests​​​​​

  • Adapt to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events with the ability to reprioritize tasks daily

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of related business operations experience preferably with two years of experience within a similar professional services firm or Big Four firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university

  • Demonstrated ability to understand the technical aspect of projects or have good understanding of technology and/or tax technical terminology

  • Technology savvy in multiple applications (MS Office, SharePoint) and ability to adapt to new technologies

  • Exposure to risk management concepts

  • Adapt to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events with the ability to reprioritize daily tasks
