KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Practice Operations to join our Tax Transformation and Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
Work with our Tax Technology Office of Portfolio Management Team to facilitate and guide product managers/owners through the Technology Risk Review Process in order to successfully deploy technology
Conduct orientation and progress reviews for simple to intermediate review projects
Manage and support multiple new technology requests from Tax; apply comprehensive knowledge of the approval process and acts as trusted advisor to Tax staff seeking internal approvals for technology initiatives
Assist in accelerating speed-to-market while balancing risk identification and mitigation
Compiles the value proposition, business and technology requirements, scope, and required next steps for simple to intermediate review projects toward approving new technology requests
Adapt to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events with the ability to reprioritize tasks daily
Qualifications:
Minimum of three years of related business operations experience preferably with two years of experience within a similar professional services firm or Big Four firm
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
Demonstrated ability to understand the technical aspect of projects or have good understanding of technology and/or tax technical terminology
Technology savvy in multiple applications (MS Office, SharePoint) and ability to adapt to new technologies
Exposure to risk management concepts
Adapt to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events with the ability to reprioritize daily tasks
