Aerotek Superintendent in Denver, Colorado

Aerotek is hiring Earthwork and Utility Field Superintendents for their Underground Utility division. The projects involve primarily commercial and some residential underground wet utility projects involving the installation of underground water, storm, sewer, fire hydrants, etc. in the Denver Metro area.
Implement job site safety plan and complete A/I reporting as required.
Complete daily pre-planning "Green Sheets" and "Tool Box Talks" as required.
Communicate openly and fully with the Project Manager and General Superintendent from the beginning to the end of the project on progress and issues. Use a team approach to improve efficiencies.
Verify project topography prior to job start.
Set daily expectations for crew performance. Manage all site personnel and equipment (to include rentals).
Ensure purchase orders (PO's) are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Carefully and ethically track changes in scope with signed extra work orders (EWO's)
Professionally manage each new job assigned. Responsible for project profit/loss.
Utilize heavy job efficiently through the accurate and timely entry. Complete an accurate diary of events daily. Photograph work performed.
Build relationships with our client's project workforce, include the site superintendent.
Prepare as-built drawings as the job progresses. Procure and file compaction tests and survey cut sheets. Complete QA/QC forms accurately and timely.
Closeout projects per customer and expectations.
Successfully train new employees.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Superintendent doing commercial underground utility projects.
Ability to read and understand plans.
Understanding and implementation of job-site Safety
Experienced with HCCS Heavy Job computer software
Experience operating heavy equipment
