Responsibilities. Like every member of the Apex Team, your role as Engineer 3 is key to the company’s success. While responsibilities of the Engineer 3 will vary day to day, in general you will often:
Serve as a technical engineering lead on stormwater projects.
Contribute to successful business development.
Write and review technical reports and proposals.
Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
Provide project management activities.
Mentor and train engineering staff and ensure quality work product.
Actively develop your own career growth.

Great minds think alike! Now that we understand each other, let’s sort through the minimum qualifications for this position:
BA/BS in Civil Engineering or a related field.
5 to 8 years of related stormwater experience.
Proficiency with MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and the add-on program Civil 3D.
Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness.
Professional Engineer license required.
Certified Professional in Erosion & Sediment Control (CPESC) desired.
Experience in designing stormwater treatment systems.
Experience with design submissions for municipal approval, including grading plans and construction drawings.
Ability to mentor and train staff.
Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
Experience with waterways and dredging is a plus.
