The Sr. Capacity and Inventory Analyst will play a central role in helpingCoreSite to achieve key objectives related to the Data Center Intelligenceprogram. The Sr. Analyst will work with Product, Sales Engineering andGeneral Management to develop and report against an ongoing set of dynamicinitiatives. A self-starter, the Sr. Analyst will proactively identify newprocess improvement projects, coordinate with employees acrossdepartments, and see these initiatives through to completion. The candidatemust have a strong finance and/or business operations background,accompanied by a demonstrated track record of systematic automation andefficieDuties:Support business in managing space and power inventory records through use ofinventory management softwareMaintain and standardize floor planning drawings and electrical and mechanicalschematics using AutoCADPrepare and analyze capacity and inventory dashboards reports for Product,Sales Engineering and General Management groupsWork with organizational leaders to prepare and monitor performance againstoperational objectivesMethodically drive business process improvements to enhance informationalspeed and accuracyCreate ad hoc reports for various organizations as needs arisePresent results of analysis and research on a variety of business operationstopics including customer metrics, order management tracking, and capacityutilization trendsSupport Sales and Data Center Operations by conducting research and analysison space and power inventoryIdentify data to drive organizational improvements by presenting actionableinformation and value added insightsPromote and demonstrate the behaviors consistent with CoreSite's culture and8 Guiding PrinciplesOther projects and duties as assignedRequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Advanced Excel skillsExcellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills a mustExhibits a strong work ethic and accountability to deadlinesStrong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skillsStrong business acumenExcels in a team-oriented work environmentExperience mining and analyzing very large data setsExperience with VBA and/or SQL is a plusExperience with business intelligence report writing tools (Power BI,SSRS, etc.)Lean Process Improvement certification is a plusExperience with AutoCAD is a plusFamiliarity with electrical and mechanical systems is a plusEducation/Experience:4-year degree with a major in finance, business, or related fieldCoursework in Engineering is a plus5-8 Years of prior relevant work experiencePhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob.
