QualificationsUndergraduate degree; Advanced degree a plus, ideally in a quantitativediscipline (i.e. statistics, mathematics, economics, operationsresearch, engineering, computer science) or healthcare discipline.2-4 years of professional experience in a healthcare environment withend-to-end revenue cycle transformation experience, including patientaccess, coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement CDI, billing, A/Rmanagement, and related IT systemsHistory and/or exposure to managing projects or programs that significantlyimproved revenue cycle performance, e.g., improved patient collections,reduced denial write-offs, increased accuracy of clinical documentation andcoding, accelerated back-end cash collections, etc.Familiarity with revenue cycle technology assets and concepts, e.g. pointsolutions, data interchange, etc, ideally with exposure to productdevelopment or implementationEnthusiasm for analytically intensive work, and learning about analytics,technology and healthcareUnderstanding of statistical and advanced analytics methods, e.g.descriptive statistics, predictive analytics, machine learningConfidence sharing your views and perspectives with senior clients andcolleaguesAbility to multi-task, work under pressure and deliver accurate and highvolume results on tight deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentComfortable traveling 80% to client sitesWho You'll Work WithYou'll work with in one of our US offices and be part of McKinsey'sHealthcare Practice. This position will be apart of the Revenue Excellence domain, with distinctive capabilities in theareas of revenue cycle management, pricing and growth.You will be on a team working on end to end revenue cycle transformations,including patient access, coding, clinical documentation, billing,A/R management, and related IT systems. You will manage projects orprograms that significantly improve revenue cycle performance, such asimproved patient collections, reduced denial write-offs, increasedaccuracy of clinical documentation and coding, accelerated back-end cashcollections, as well as drive development of technology assets that help ourclient teams fulfill these goals.What You'll DoYou will work directly with client leaders and front-line operators to drivechange that is critical to successful realization of goals.Our consulting teams provide problem-solving support, industry expertise,individual and group coaching, and change management sessions.
