The Senior Healthcare Representative is a promoted representative levelposition and is responsible for selling Pfizer's product portfolio to thehighest value customers within a district to include physicians, accountsand medical groups. The SHR plays a critical role in increasing Pfizer'sbrand with high value customers by developing an insightful assessment of thecustomer and the overall business landscape, identifying appropriatebusiness opportunities based on the insights, formulating and then executinga strategy to maximize return on investment in alignment with RBU goals.The District Sales Representative is a Senior Healthcare Representative thatcalls exclusively on high value customers (e.g. optimal details of 7-12,specialists, KOLs, etc.) within a district. The DSR is expected tocultivate strong business relationships with their assigned high valuetargets, drawing extensively upon their demonstrated business acumen, CFSAexpertise and product knowledge to identify and differentially address thecustomer's needs with the appropriate resources. The DSR is an informalleader within the district and as such is expected to be an expert on theirassigned products and selling skills, and takes on additional districtresponsibility via special projects, serving as a mentor to PHRs, andleading m BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary Valid US driver's license and a driving record in compliance withcompany standards. Live within 50 miles of territory Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative relationships with keythought leaders and high value customers across a variety of settings(e.g., large group practices, institutions) Proven capability to positively influence high value customers resultingin desired business outcomes A demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment with previouspharmaceutical sales experience. 18 months previous pharmaceutical sales experience preferred. Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical andscientific product and disease management information to a wide range ofcustomers. Demonstrated high degree of business acumen and strategic thinking Proficiency using sales data/call reporting software/applications andable to adapt to Pfizer's long range technology model in brining Pfizerinformation to market. Expertise in CFSA Portfolio, disease state, and market place expertise preferredFunctional / Technical Skills can include: Promote broad portfolio of products Develop a deep knowledge of assigned customers and entities (e.g., accounts) Drive sales in assigned accounts and with customers Develop strategic account selling and management skills Strong coordination and collaboration with internal and externalpartners, especially in cross-functional settings Gain access in difficult situationsSunshine ActPfizer reports payments and other transfers of value to health care providersas required by federal and state transparency laws and implementingregulations. These laws and regulations require Pfizer to provide governmentagencies with information such as a health care provider's name, addressand the type of payments or other value received, generally for publicdisclosure.
