Workiva, Inc Senior Director Of Sales Operations in Denver, Colorado

The Senior Director of Sales Operations is responsible for the productivityand effectiveness of the sales organization. The role directs and leadsfunctions essential to sales force productivity, such as: sales processoptimization, order management process, sales systems and automation,business planning, reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will haveexperience across these functional areas, working in a dynamic and growingenvironment, preferably in a publicly-traded technology/SaaS firm.What You'll Do:Lead a diverse, professional, responsive operations team focused onsupporting our sales organization to drive growth and achieve business goals.Partner with senior sales management and other key stakeholders to identifyopportunities for sales process improvementStreamline the order management process to support transaction volume anddrive accuracyManage the Deal Desk function of order management, deal structuring, andsales supportLead projects and initiatives to improve enabling technologies in support ofsales productivity, including the selection, implementation and continuousimprovement of a Configure, Price Quote (CPQ) solution to meet therequirements of a complex order management process.People Management:Build a strong sustainable organization with high levels of employeeengagement by attracting and developing superior talent and rewarding superiorperformance of teams and individualsProvide employees with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunitiesincluding leadership development to enhance their skills, motivation, andperformanceMaintain an atmosphere of respect, mutual support, flexibility,continuous learning, good humor, and commitment to business goals andcustomer needs to fulfill the company visionMatch staff skills and talent to tasks to ensure optimal engagement andperformanceRewards superior team and individual performance in ways that enhance employeeengagement, commitment, and satisfactionEstablish and maintain relationships and effectively communicates withpeers, business unit leaders and senior management to raise visibility andensure collaboration with appropriate key stakeholdersManage operations staffing, including recruitment, supervision,scheduling, performance management, development, evaluation, anddisciplinary actionsDemonstrate the charisma and assessment capability to attract top talentIdentify and resolve interpersonal conflicts and resource issuesWhat You'll NeedProven experience in the following functional areas: order management,deal structuring, forecasting/planning, incentive compensation,CRM/CPQ deployment and ongoing support, reporting and analytics.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to influence at all levels and in various departmentsAbility to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects ina fast-paced, changing environmentTechnical capacity- attention to detailTime managementAbility to collect and analyze data to influence performance and processimprovementAbility to build internal and external relationships, partnerships andbusiness developmentExperience: 10+ Years of progressive Sales Operations experience in a highgrowth technology companyEducation: Bachelor's degreeTravel Requirement: up to 20% for internal meetings, training, andother requirements as neededWhere You'll WorkOur values drive how we work and who we hire.
