Our passion for the well-being of animalsand those who care for them drives us to advance the world of veterinarymediciThe Senior Brand Manager of Pharmaceuticals and Nutrition will build andexecute an integrated commercial brand strategy to support the growth anddevelopment of Covetrus Branded animal healthcare pharmaceutical andnutritional products positioned both through traditional distribution andexpanded B2C channels. Establishes and directs the development andimplementation of brand, marketing plans and budgets that align withorganizational goals and objectives.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain an optimized portfolio of Covetrus Branded Pharmaceuticals byevaluating product lines by category to identify opportunities and recommendactions that enhance volume, customer penetration and profitability.Lead the development of marketing plans that support key business and brandinitiatives, new product launches and seasonal activities. Create,manage, and adapt a product roadmap to meet quarterly objectives/KPIs.Interface with leaders and team members from across the organization toachieve commercial goalAnalyze the competitive environment, and execute marketing strategies andtactics to achieve success based on market dynamicsIdentify new product opportunities; work with cross-functional team to drivesuccessfully from stage gate development process through commercial launch.Execute campaigns including working with cross functional team of Sales,Marketing and Procurement for integrated brand communication plans.Interface with all functions throughout the end to end development and launchof initiatives (including Sales, Marketing, Sourcing, Procurement,Finance, and Sales Operations) to deliver projects within the specifiedtime, cost, and quality parameters.Manage commercialization activities such as positioning, promotion, andsales enablement (sales training, tools and aids, national and regionalmeetings, etc.).Build out analytics capabilities and perform ongoing and ad-hoc analysis toassess product performance and extract new product insights.Maintain extensive knowledge of the business to make decisions based on theunique needs of our consumer and/or the category.Continually seek qualitative customer feedback to guide product decisions;be the voice of the customer.Effectively integrate business plan with those of key cross-functional peerleaders to align activities across the organization.Leads and assists in other projects and performs other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, BusinessAdministration or a related field.Experience:+7 years of marketing/sales and/or product management experience in thepharmaceutical industry.Animal health industry experience or Companion animal/Equine background,preferred.COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)Must possess strong organizational, execution and leadership skillsExcellent collaboration skills and a proven ability to work in a fast paceenvironment, managing multiple tasks and prioritiesBusiness acumen required to interact with all levels of the organizationDemonstrated presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPointAbility to influence to achieve positive outcomesPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob.
