Sirius Computer Solutions Security Strategist in Denver, Colorado

Position Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is to function as a technology thought leader and evangelist for the Sirius Security practice. The Security Strategist will take a lead role in identifying and progressing potential Security M&A opportunities, and be the “Face of the Security” to Sirius’ Security partners.

The Security Strategist will also enable the Sirius presales team on practice offerings, and perform internal facing work on developing new solutions and services offerings. Utilizing Sirius’ Solution Go-To-Market (GTM) methodology, this role will research and evaluate new partners and solutions, and play a key role in launching new solutions for the Security practice.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Innovation and Optimization

  • Explore potential Security M&A opportunities

  • Perform due diligence and work potential opportunities with the Sirius M&A team

Technology Presales Enablement

  • Be the “Face of the Security” to Sirius’ Security partners. Take a lead role in security partner meetings, conferences, executive briefings, QBRs, and related events

  • Seek out and engage in public speaking opportunities to promote Security capabilities, both to clients and relevant vendor communities

  • Actively participate in technology, industry, and vendor interest groups, advisory councils and similar organizations

  • Plan and execute internal training events and resources (roadshows, immersion days, etc.) to enable the Sirius sales and presales teams on established and emerging Security solutions

  • Develop and promote the strategic vision

Offering and Portfolio Development

  • Continuously evolve Security services offerings to include the best available technologies, taking into account market trends, customer acceptance, and partner relationships.

  • Utilizing Sirius’ Solution Go-To-Market (GTM) methodology, research and evaluate new partners and solutions, and play a key role in launching new Security solutions

  • Develop business plans for new offerings

  • Develop and report on targets for top-line revenue growth from new offerings

  • Work with Sirius’ Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and sales collateral for offerings

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • At least ten (10) years of experience in an Information Technology sales leadership and/or service delivery leadership role, to include IT Security focused sales and/or service delivery leadership experience

Other Position Requirements:

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs, operating and influencing across an organization and within complex contexts

  • Experience designing and implementing Cloud and SaaS solutions

  • Experience designing strategic metrics and scorecards

  • Demonstrated successful track record of rolling out new IT Service solutions to external customers, including working with disparate business groups to define, optimize, and market new offerings

  • Demonstrated awareness of current and emerging IT Security trends

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Established relationships with leading IT Security vendors

Data Privacy and Security :

  • All Sirius employees are responsible to safeguard the information and information systems that they use or handle in the execution of their duties.   • Participate at hire and annually in the Information Security Awareness training as well as other required training identified by the Human Resources department. Other data privacy and data security related regulatory training may be required based on your role or assignment.

Essential Functions

The position exists to provide technical consulting solutions to customers a nd as such requires the ability to travel to and from customer and business partner sites and interact with customers on an ongoing and regular basis.
