In order for usto accomplish this goal, we need a new Channel Manager with channel,sales, and strategy experience. This is a channel sales role for the Westregion of North America and will work with Value Added Resellers (VARs andDistributors and Managed Service Providers (MSPs). You will manage andexpand existing channel partnerships, working towards the Ping channelstrategy focused on winning new customers, and expanding our technologyfootprint with existing customers through our channel partner program. TravelrJob Responsibilities:Provide partners with the resources to identify new opportunities and build aPartner sourced pipelineAccelerate revenue and new customer acquisition through Ping's Channelprogram and meeting plan expectationsManage strategic partnerships following the values outlined in Ping's GlobalPartner ProgramBuild upon partner strategy at the field level to support partnershipsAttend industry events, working with partners to create incremental businessClose new business deals by coordinating with partners and internal Ping teamMeasure and provide success metrics to partners and the business, analyzingbusiness intelligence and making strategic adjustments Work with direct sales and marketing organization to socialize the valueproposition of our partnershipsEstablish and use senior level contacts in partner organizations to accomplishjoint partner strategyEssential Qualifications:5+ years field sales and/or business development experience in thesoftware industry3+ years field sales and/or business development experience in the ITsecurity or infrastructure sector3+ years channel manager experienceSkills required include: closing skills, motivation for sales,prospecting skills, sales planning, business planningSell to customer needsTerritory managementTeam-orientedOur Benefits:Open PTOParental LeaveFree Healthcare Option401(k) MatchGenerous Holiday ScheduleCommuter OffsetEducation ReimbursementPing Identity is an equal opportunity employer.
